Fastest way from MK to BC at MK closing?

Which is fastest and less stressful, taking from MK at closing, the bus directly or the monorail to Epcot and then walking to BeachClub?

I would have to say the bus. If you took the monorail, you would have to wait online for that. Then get off, go through the turnstyles to enter Epcot (if it was still open) and push past all the people who are walking in the opposite direction. Then walk through Future World and to the middle of the world showcase to exit out the back of Epcot. Then you could choose to wait for the boat there or walk to BC. It's much more convenient to wait for the bus and then be done!

Bus is definitely fastest (assuming you don't have to wait an inordinate amount of time), but monorail is more fun. My estimate of times is as follows:

Bus ride from MK to Epcot resort area is about 10 - 12 minutes. If the bus still stops at all the Epcot resorts (Swan, Dolphin, YC, BC and Boardwalk), BC would be the fourth stop, which would take another 10 - 15 minutes (to avoid this wait, just get off at the first stop (can't remember if it is Swan or Dophin) and walk to BC (5 minutes) from there).

Monorail to Epcot and then walking through Epcot to BC takes about 45 minutes (assuming there is not a lengthy wait for a monorail). Thus, the extra time is approx. 15 - 20 minutes (which isn't a lot, although there is a lot more walking by cutting through Epcot). We love going this way from MK to BC, but would not do it if we were really in a hurry.

Be sure to check the closing times of each of the parks before planning on the monorail to Epcot option. If you are talking about a night when MK is open late (11 or 12) then Epcot will already be closed (9:30). In that case, you won't be able to walk through Epcot from the front entrance (where the monorail stops) to the International Gateway entrance (where the walkway to BC is).
