Fastest way from Epcot to DTD?

We are planning on spending our first day at Disney at Epcot, with dinner at The House Of Blues at Downtown Disney. I am trying to figure out the logistics of getting from point a to point b, and would appreciate any input:

Option 1: Take Disney Transportation from Epcot to Saratoga Springs resort, then move over to boat launch to DTD Marketplace

Option 2: Take the monorail to the Trans Center, switch to bus to DTD.

Option 3: Take Disney Transportation to 1st resort it comes to, switch to bus to DTD

What do you think would be the fastest route? And, if we have 6:00 reservations for The House of Blues, what time will we have to leave Epcot?

FYI - Option 2 is not viable, there is no bus to DTD from TTC.

If you know your way around Saratoga Springs, then the fastest is to take a bus to Saratoga Springs, then take the walkway over to the Westside. I've only done the Congress Park stop, then walked over to Marketplace, but there is another walkway near the restaurant, that goes close to WestSide.

Another option is to walk over to the Boardwalk from the International Gateway, then take a bus to DTD.

Thank you, I did not know there was no bus from TTC to DTD. If I would have chosen that option, my husband would have killed me!

I'm thinking I may take your idea and take the bus to Saratoga Springs then walk to the Westside, it seems like that is the most direct path. Thank you!

From Epcot, I would walk out the International Gateway to the Beach Club (as that's the closest resort to Epcot), and take the bus to DTD. That will be faster than option #1 - especially if you are already in World Showcase. I wouldn't do option #3, because that involves two buses.

Allow at least 1 hour to get to DTD.

I would go with the option of taking the bus to Sartoga Springs, then taking the boat to Downtown Disney Marketplace.

Also another option could be taking a taxi. That's if you don't mind paying for one, because they will be a lot faster then any forms of WDW transportation.

Good point! I have taken the DTD bus from the Swan, and don't remember where else it stopped - but I'll take your word for it. I do think that is faster than going out the front of Epcot to the bus to Saratoga Springs.

No it does not.

The EPCOT resorts bus to/from DTD goes like this. DTD, SW, DO, YC, BC, BW DTD.

The ONLY time the BC bus goes backwards is if it is a special due to several full buses going the normal way. And then it starts at BW and ends at the SW.

Boardwalk is not always the best choice as the bus may be full by the time it gets to BW (BW can have a lot of guests trying to get downtown as well), then no one will ride. The YC or BC would be better if you decide to use this option.
