What is the fastest route back to WL from Epcot. The children want to go to WCC but the Epcot day would be the only day we could possibly do it. I don't want to waste too much time on transportation though. I can't believe I am going to give up my dinner at Le Cellier for WCC!! :sad2:

I think the fastest way would to take the bus to the Wilderness Lodge. Another option would be to grab the monorail to the TTC, then grab the monorail to the Contemporary or the Magic Kingdom, then grab the boat to the Wilderness Lodge.

The fastest route would be a helicopter from EPCOT to Wilderness Lodge (landing in the World Showcase Lagoon would be best for them), second fastest route would be taking the monorail from EPCOT, and when you get over Wilderness Lodge's driveway, pull the emergency stop handle, and then jump and walk (you might want bring one of those new compact/portable emergency ladders: here or here).

Finally, if you are looking for a more conventional path:

Epcot® by bus Disney's Wilderness Lodge : 17 mins.
Epcot® monorail to Transportation & Ticket Center and bus to Disney's Wilderness Lodge : 39 mins.

You can check for any transportation issues here.

fam,
Just some advice, DON'T GIVE UP LE CELLIER FOR WCC!. Ok really, we ate at both places last weekend and Le Cellier was fabulous, WCC was just mediocre, at best.

Nola...I would much rather stay with LeCellier but we were only able to get an ADR for two table for our family of five and I was concerned whether or not LeCellier is a good place for children. It sounds just WONDERFUL though!

We've eaten at both LeCellier and Whispering Canyon.

My family would easily choose Whispering Canyon. But that's just us. :cool1:
