Fastest/best to go from MK to EP: monorail or drive?

tuesday, around noon...

Tomorrow is our last day we will be at MK until about noon, then want to go to Epcot. We are staying off property and will leave in the car around 7pm to go to the airport (hotel then airport)

We've never park hopped with the option of driving.....and time is tight should we take the monorail or go back to the car and drive? I have a scooter so that adds about 10 min total if driving to transport, but we can park in the scooter parking somewhat closer to the front. If we want to be in the car at 7:15 from Epcot and the car is at MK how much time to a lot?

I'd park at Epcot then monorail or bus to MK in the morning. Then just monorail back to Epcot in the afternoon..then when it's time to leave your cars already there.

There is no regular bus service between MK and Epcot.

I think it would be easier to park at Epcot in the morning and catch the monorail to and from MK. That way you already have the car right there. It might mean an earlier start in the morning, however you can maximise your time in the parks, knowing you don't need to travel that far to get back in the car.

I thought there was regular busing between every park all day? That's not the case?

Just take the monorail from MK to the TTC. Then transfer to the EP monorail.

There is regular "transportation" between the parks.
Not always "buses."
