Fasted way to get annual pass?

I'm super excited to take DS to Disney for the first time! We won't arrive at a park gate until the day of his birthday (Monday Dec. 5th) around 10:30 or 11:00. I'm hoping someone has tips for which parks to go to, or which spot will be best to get our Annual Passes and get going! We're also considering getting a hotel for Sunday night so we're ready to go the next morning. What would be the latest time and spot where I can get the Annual Passes on a Sunday night? I appreciate any advice!

If you are staying at a Disney Resort you can purchase Annual Passes at the Resort's Lobby Concierge. The only thing that they can do with APs is sell new ones. They cannot handle Will-call or upgrades to APs.

Every Park entrance (including TTC and IG) will have at least one Ticket and one Guest Relations Window open at least 30 minutes prior to the first Guest being allowed into the Park. And this takes into consideration both pre-opening dining reservations as well as Morning EMH. In addition, the Guest Relations windows at all the Parks are staffed until the last Guest has left the Park.

And you can also get your APs at DTD (at Disney Quest and at the Guest Relations near World of Disney).

I have never known the Disney resorts to sell annual passes. Is this something new? When mine have lapsed, I have had to go to the TTC or a park guest relation window to purchase a new one.

Since the new resort computer system was put into place, at the resorts they can sell you a new Annual Pass.

They cannot do any upgrade to an AP or a renewal. Also they cannot activate an AP voucher or will-call. They cannot do a reissue if demagnetized.
