Fast passes when ride is down question

I have a frozen Fastpass for our trip in July. I know it just opened, and they are working on getting all the kinks out of the system. My dd just asked what happened when a ride is down during your FP window. I had no answer because it hasn't happened to us before. Could someone enlighten me?

The FP becomes an anytime FP for that ride or a list of rides that they tie to the original ride. You will receive an email telling you which rides are available to use it on.

You'll receive an email letting you know your FP is down. In the email it'll give you a list of rides you can use the FP on. The anytime fast pass is valid during and after your scheduled time, not before. You won't need to do anything, just show up to one of the rides in the list and go through like a regular FP. In the list it will also include your original ride. If the ride starts back up after your window, you can still ride it.

The email will look like this

If you or anyone in your party doesn't have a smart phone and can't access the email, you can go up to a CM at the ride that is down and they'll have the list of available rides for you.

Liljo is right. Also in the rare event it does down and you are unable to use the any time for the original ride you can always speak with guest relations about other fixes such as a FP the next day if you have park hoppers. No guarantee GR can help since rides are never guaranteed but sometimes GR can pixie dust.

When I was there in May we had fps for Peter Pan, 7DMT, and Space Mountain. 7DMT and SM were both down. Long story but we ended up leaving early but on the way out we stopped by GS and got an anytime pass for 7DMT the next MK day. We never did ride SM that trip.

That's the email. I don't believe you'll see the list on MDE
