Fast passes for disney resorts?

About two years ago, I read that Disney was playing around with giving more fast passes to disney resort people with deluxe receiving more over value and off site receiving less?

Anyone have an update on this?

It was/is a rumor. The Nextgen fastpass is only in the testing phase right now, and we still don't know how it will ultimately end up working. There's still a possibility that on-site resorts will get more options over off-site and that the different tiers of resorts could have different levels of benefits. It's all just speculation at this point.

My guess....mind you just a guess is that EMH will eventually be replaced by a sort of fastpass for resort only guests which will be different than a "regular" fastpass. Just my speculation....

I've been reading the posts on the parks board from people who are testers this month. It seems they were randomly chosen by having ME reservations. Some were packages and some were room only. It will be interesting to see how the test goes.
