Two questions. Next week I will be buying annual passes online for our March WDW vacation. Can I book fast passes before these are actually activated? Also, how many days out is it for booking those FPS. Our vacation starts on March 18. Thanks!

Yes, you can get fast passes before the annual passes are activated as long as you link them in your My Disney Experience account.
If you have a reservation at a Disney resort, the Swan & Dolphin, or a “Good Neighbor” Resort, you will be able to make fast passes for your length of stay (up to 14 days) on January 17, which is 60 days ahead of your March 18 vacation, as long as your resort reservation is also linked in your My Disney Experience account.
If you are not staying at the resorts listed above you can still make fast passes but only 30 days ahead of your vacation, one day at a time, and you will only be able to make a total of 7 days of fast passes.

Thanks! We are staying at Boardwalk, so I guess I’ll be good to go once I buy the Annual Passes. I’ll be sure to link them, plus our resort reservation, in MDE. Appreciate the quick response.

Sorry to piggyback on your conversation. I was doing a search to find out information about fast passes with annual passes and this popped up in my search. @Jaylie Do you know how this would work with a split stay? The first leg of my trip is 10 nights at POR and then we are moving to AKL for 4 nights. We are planning to get annual passes for this trip. I have a feeling that I will only be able to get fast passes for the first 10 days and then have to wait until I am 60 days out from the 2nd part of the trip at AKL. Is that how it works? Thank you in advance!

As long as the two stays are contiguous, the full window for your entire trip will open. (Note that this *isn't* the case for ADRs.) If your check-in date at AKL is your check-out date at Riverside, the FP window opens all at once.

@cigar95 Thanks so much for the response! You are correct--check out date for Riverside is the same date as check in for AKL. That's great info. I didn't think it worked like that so I'm pleasantly surprised!

This has just changed - maybe a week or so ago? You can no longer make fp+ for two onsite stays at T60 for the first one, it is now T60 from the start of each resort stay.

That’s a bummer! I had read this in a different thread and hoped it wasn’t true. :sad1:
So this may be a dumb question but will my checkout date from the 1st resort still count as part of my initial fast pass bookings?
