Fast Pass window opening when I'm on the west coast, FOP Question

I just realized for one of my up coming trips the fast pass window will be on a day when I'm in Vegas. If I don't wake up ridiculously early what are my chances of getting FOP on day 8 of my trip? Do you think good times (not super late at night) will still be available for 2? It falls on my boyfriend's birthday and I just can't see me waking up at 4am, but if it means I'll lose out on FOP I'll try.

What do you guys think?

if you really want that ride I wouldn't take a chance. I'd get up and book it and then go back to sleep. Then book the rest of your things when you're up later.

For day #8, you should be fine.

I’m also on West Coast time and once scheduled for FoP for Day#9 and then left to go to the gym. While at the gym, I decided I should add in a couple more days for AK... so did that when I returned home. There was still morning availability for Day#6 and Day#7.

That's good to hear normally I would just wake up earlier, but I have a feeling it's going to be a late night and it's really hard for me to fall back asleep once I'm up.

Right now, I think you'd be fine. When is your trip? I checked day 60+4 (or maybe it's 60+5, not entirely sure LOL) and FoP is still open for my family of 5, even before 10:00.

If you're not picky about time, I think you'd be OK unless you're going when crowds are predicted to be heavy. My time is a light crowd level so that would definitely have an effect on the availability.

I guess I'll be the one to have to break the news to you that Las Vegas is not on the West Coast. If you were planning to be in the ocean, Las Vegas is like, the opposite of the ocean. What's that word? Oh yeah....it's a desert.

LOL I meant I'll be in the west coast time zone. I live in Florida so it'll be three hours ahead of me. We will eventually see the coast though, we're flying to Disneyland after Vegas.

Late April, when Easter is at the beginning of April, I still think you’ll be fine for Day#8.

And for Vegas, we were there 2 weeks ago and depending on where you’re staying, you’ll also end up doing a lot of walking. We arrived mid-day, in time to watch the start of the Rock n Roll marathon, and still walked almost 9 miles that day - we should have signed up for the 10K. You shouldn’t have to stress about being up at 4!

Late April, when Easter is at the beginning of April, I still think you’ll be fine for Day#8.

Great! Thanks We're staying at the Venetian, it's a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend so I'm really excited.

I'd be a bit more hesitant for late April. It looks to be a medium crowd level on TP.

Is there someone back home who could do it for you? I know you aren't keen on getting up early, but you don't even have to get out of bed. I set my alarm and then just did it from under the covers on my mobile phone.

Just rally and get up and do it. You'll be up anyway, worrying about it.
Chances are you won't get it if you wait. You shouldn't have a problem getting it if you book right when the window opens.
Then it's done and done and you can move on with your life!

It'll be on the 4th day of my trip so I think I'll have adjusted to the new time.
