Fast Pass usage question...

I haven't seen this question posted yet since I've been on the boards, so here goes. Let's say I have a FP for Buzz and for whatever reason we don't use it before we leave for the day. We go back the next day, can we use it then? Will they allow that? Not sure that would happen but I just wanted to know in case it comes up.

No, because the FP has a time frame where you need to use it. If we have FPs that we're not going to us, we try to find someone to give them to.

Technically speaking, the fastpass is only good for the time printed on the FP itself. Some CMs have been known to look the other way and allow a person to come back later than what it states...and they definitely allow you to come back later if for some reason the ride was closed during the scheduled FP time. However for a completely different day, it's unlikely you'll be able to use it. Your best bet is to simply get a new FP.

You can't use it the NEXT day, but you can use it the SAME day, just later. so say your return time is 2:30 - 3:30 but you are eating during that time, you could use it at 4 without a problem.

Officially they are not supposed to accept a fastpass past its time. Last May we got a fastpass for Soarin' and it was at the same time as our lunch reservations in Canada. I asked the cast member at Soarin' what to do and he said no problem - we could use it later in the day after our lunch. This is what we did and had no problem. I believe they were doing this with Soarin' because it is so popular and it was the same day. Not sure what they would say if it another day.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I had read that you would be able to use a FP on the same day pretty much anytime from the window start time on (usually) but wasn't sure about next day. Good to know.

They do look at your fastpass to make sure you are AFTER your return time, but they don't seem to be concerned at all about the latter time in the window as long as it's the same day. We used multiple fastpasses that had expired long before, both at Magic Kingdom and Epcot...always got some before we left the park for the afternoon so we had some to use when we returned in the evening. Never got turned away.

Yup, sometimes sooner. The time you can get the next one will be printed on the FP.

Yes, 2 family members a CMs and both have said that it doesn't matter at all when you use it after the time. They do notice if it's for the wrong ride though. My mom tried it to see if they'd notice (we had the right one) and they did and just asked for the right one.

I have been told by CM's that the FP can be used anytime after the start of the return time until the park closes for that day only. There will be a time printed on the FP when you can obtain another FP.
