Fast pass time window and child swap question

I have a question regarding the fast pass time window, let's say it is 5pm to 6pm.
If we are using child swap, do we all have to finished with the ride by 6pm?
Or can the first two people enter the ride at one minute to 6pm and then we can still child swap, even though it will be after 6pm now for the second set of riders?

RS=Rider Swap, generally a little paper ticket you get that up to 3 people can use anytime until the end of the month to enter that ride in the FP line

If the first two people (say dad and older brother) have a FP+ from 5pm-6pm, they can enter the FP line until 6 pm with the people not riding (mom and baby). They will then get a lanyard to exchange for the RS pass or the RS pass itself while mom and baby go do something else. Mom and older brother can then ride the ride in the FP line with the RS ticket once anytime for the next several days.
However, if mom has a FP+ for 5-6pm, and she waits with the baby outside the ride, she cannot use her FP+ to ride the ride later, she could only ride in the FP line using the rider swap pass.

In other words, the rider swap doesn't really have anything to do with FP+. You can get rider swap whether you are in FP+ line or standby line as long as you present the too short child at the start of the line.
If you have a FP, you have to ride the ride in that time frame.
Rider Swap will only be good for up to 3 riders to go through the FP line, though
