just bought 5 from ebay for £16 + £3 p&p

they are lifetime ones so you can use again and again. Apparently they are usually for VIP and Disney staff! - the feedback shows people have bought them and used them and everything was fine.

If it all is fine it will save queueing cutting down 90 minute waits to 5 mins apparently - we will see.

Yes lots of people here have used them, they seem to work fine.

90 minute waits to 5 mins apparently

I'd say about 15 minutes is more realistic :)
I ended up wishing I'd bought these before we went last weekend, but also wondering if it's the proliferation of these, (I personally saw several people use them), which means at 10.30 in the morning you're issued an FP for 5.30 or 6.00pm. :confused3

Because we are both coaster chickens, we tend to only use Fastpass for Peter Pans flight, and Buzz.

Whilst yes, having a fastpass for PP does cut down the wait to around 5-10 minutes, it is, like Jill said, more like 15-20 minutes using fastpass for Buzz if its busy enough to use fastpass. This is because the fastpass queue still takes you to the beginning of the staging area in Buzz, where you join the same line as everyone else. When its busy, you are taking fairy steps to get through all of those corridors before you actually get on the ride.

I'm sure other more brave DIS'ers will be along to give you some idea of how long you'll wait in line with your fastpass :)

I too brought some of these fastpass tickets from ebay but i didn't use them at all on our last trip.
Instead i had old park tickets and felt much more comfortable using them, whenever we were queuing for fastpasses for BTM and Buzz there was always a CM there and i was worried that i might be asked where i got them ebay ones from.

That's what stopped me buying them, I wouldn't know what to say if questioned on them

Normally I would say that just using expired tickets is enough, I had 2 previous sets, so we could hold 3 FP's at a time, but when you're getting an FP for early evening in the morning and when the FP machines are covered over by early afternoon, it's not good, I pity those people with 1 ordinary entrance ticket, to them on days like I've described the FP system must seem ridiculous.

When I had my purse stolen in January City Hall gave me 2 of the Lifetime Fastpasses to try and make amends, they had a massive stack of them behind the counter!!

Are there two types of fast passes? One for lifetime and one for that day???
