Hey guys,

We are headed down to Disney (OUR 1ST TIME), August 20th and plan on going to MK August 21st to take advantage of EMH & Rope Drop.

How would you suggest I schedule our Fast Passes??

I am the only trill seeker in our group (my DH, MIL and 3 kids) and I would like to experience Mission Space, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, and the Snow white ride.

Everyone would else want to do Enchanted tales with Belle, Under the Sea, Dumbo, Buzz and Tomorrow Land speedway.

Can you all give me some advice on how to schedule our Fast passes?? I would like to do the rides with everyone as well; so if need be I would give up going on the more trilling rides by my self.

Thanks In Advance!!

FYI, Mission Space is at Epcot. Big Thunder Mountain RR is a very mild coaster. The Snow White mine train isn't open yet, but it is rumored to be more mild, like Big Thunder Mountain. You won't want to miss Splash Mountain.

(1) Plan for a FP+ for the Snow White Ride, definitely.

(2) I'd also consider an FP+ for either Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain RR. I would think that your whole family should be able to ride both rides. If anyone is under 40 inches, get a child swap pass. If they won't do those rides, then plan to hit Splash Mountain or BTMRR during rope drop and/or EMH wile your family does other things. However, if you really don't think those are feasible for your family, get a FP+ for Peter Pan

(3) FP+ for Enchanted Tales with Belle.

If you plan on a second day at Magic Kingdom (highly recommended), I'd get FPP for all of the following:

- Splash Mountain
- Big Thunder Mountain RR
- Mine Train
- Enchanted Tales with Belle
- Buzz Lightyear
- Peter Pan

Rice Space Mountain at Rope Drop.

See the green link in my signature for some suggestions and strategies.

Do you want to ride some things more than once?

If you get to MK at rope drop you will be able to get a lot done the first hour or two if you stick with a plan and do not get distracted. Then I would schedule your fast passes for busier times of the day.

You can split up the FP+ selections...I have my husband and son doing the speedway at the same time as my daughter and I do Space Mountain. They are in the same area and we can ride then meet up.

Read the suggested FP+ recommendations... many attractions that offer FP+ really do not need a FP+. Do not use one on shows or high capacity things.

Have a great trip!

I am going in August as well and as I understand it, Splash is scheduled for closure at that time.

Source, please? Certainly possible, but I haven't heard that and it is unusual for Splash to be down at that time of year.

I guess I was mistaken! Was sure I had read that - even noted it for my own itin - but either was reading another year (??) or read the info wrong. Closed now until march 21st.

Sorry!
