If you use your first 3 FP+ in the first park of the day, can you hop, and then get your 4th 5th and 6th etc, in a different park?

I.E. Can you use star tours TSMM and TOT, and then hop to MK and get
Whatever is left over there, or are you stcuk in one park for the whole day with FP+

You've got it right - you can use up your first 3 then hop and look for 4th, 5th in your second park. Depending on your times and parks, some people find it better to tour park 1 without FP and save their FPs for park 2

But...
You have to get the new passes from the new park at a kiosk, you can't get MK passes while at AK for example.

So last time we used our 3 in the second park, because we rope dropped the first and didnt feel it necessary to waste them.
we found this a good system.
This time however we only have a day and a half, so are trying to figure the best way to maximize our time.
so burn the first 3 in park 1
Kiosk the next ones in second or third park...correct?
thanks

Day and a half is a short one!

You want to hit all the parks? Just headliners?

Rope drop and 2nd park FP might still be the way to go, but let us know what you want to hit and we can give you some ideas.

A lot will depend on when you are going.

If during low crowd days (1,2 or 3), it would make more sense to schedule your FP's early because the probability that you will be able to draw additional FP's throughout the day for anything that matters will be higher. Another poster in another thread just got back from a 2 day and while she was surprised at how long the standby lines were, she was able to draw additional FP's all the way up into the evening, even for things like BTMR.

Most other times it makes sense to schedule your FP's for afternoon or evening and rope drop your morning park, because the probability that there will be any good FP's left by noon or later at a kiosk is slim to none with none being most likely the more crowded the day is.

Beyond that, MesaBoy has a great thread with tips here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3326057

Veteran here,so all of your arguments are ones I've had with myself on several occasions. In the end, we went with FP at HS.
We will skip over to AK and do nothing but Dinosaur for an hour or two, then off to hotel to check in, pool, drink..
Hoop de Doo at 615pm
Back to MK for wishes and fantasyland right before closing after the kids leave.
Second day is all MK. RD space splash thunder...
FP for 11 , 12 and 1 for whatever we get, and then Sorcerers rest of the time between rides.
Cosmic rays or Columbia lunch.
Out of there at 3 and off to the airport.. A whirlwind but totally worth it
