Fast Pass return time enforcement at DLR

I've read here continuously that FP return times are not enforced at DLR. My touring plan for May 25 and 26 builds in flexibility based on this. I was just told, though, that DLR is now strictly enforcing return times. I'm not seeing this anywhere else, so I want to ask if anything has recently changed. What's the current status?

At this time, DLR is not enforcing fast pass return times,
you cannot use a fastpass before the stated return time,
but you can use it anytime after on that day.

the fastpass enforcment is at WDW, not the DLR

There have been no reports of enforcing FP return times that I have seen. We would hear about it a few days before like we did with WDW because there are cast members who post info like this on this and other DL sites.

I am at DL RIGHT NOW and FP return times are NOT being enforced. I just used a FP on Space Mtn and while I was within my window, I asked the CM who was collecting the FPs if it was ok if I used a pass after the return window. He said, "yes, in fact when everyone uses them at the appointed time this is what happens,"- and pointed to the long queue of folks in the FP return line.

So no worries, OP! Just because someone posts 6,000 times doesn't mean they know everything. It just means they like to talk on the Internet!

Dude (or dudette) obviously doesn't know didley squat.

The humidity & long bus rides causes confusion for some folks on the "other side" of the site.

I am also at Disneyland right now and have used late FPs for the past few days with no problems. I have used them for ST, Space, and other popular rides. CMs haven't questioned a single one. Taught this trick to another couple in line with us as they were about to toss their "expired" fastpasses for ST. Saw them go up to FP entrance at ST and use late FP with no problem.

So, no worries! Late FP return is alive and well at DL.

Well just a heads up people but it look like they MAY be enforcing FP at DLR come June 15th now. ACCORDING to a poster on Mice Chat when I was lurking there today was told directly they will start enforcing the return time window then. He basically was asking if anyone else was told the same thing, but if true it looks like the good times will come to an end lol.

Anyway I'm curious to hear if others have been told the same thing recently. I guess we will know in a few weeks regardless! Again, just based on what someone was told!

No it was just a general poster! In fact it was his first post, so that tells you he really did seem concern about it.

Basically he was told when he went on TOT and he came passed his return time. The CM told him they will take late returns for two more weeks but after that they will be strict again because they are worried about the crowds and want to keep some order.

So it sounds reasonable if thats the reason. Again though he was only told this by one CM and who knows if it will be for every ride, but it does sound legit from what he was told.

Yeah, we'll see but he asked others if they been told the same thing and so far no one else has reported anything yet. I would ask the same thing for people here. If anyone is going this week, please ask or report if they were told the same thing by a CM if you can, thanks!

Our friends who are SoCal locals swore up and down that fastpass return times were now strictly enforced. However, I used fastpasses late all last week without so much as a raised eyebrow from a cast member.

Again...he specifically cited it would be from June 15th on! So until then its valid. And again its just ONE poster who cited this, I'm not trying to cause panic lol, I'm only relaying what he was told! It may not happen or it may be limited to some of the more 'problem' attractions like TOT and SM that does get thornes of people past the times at night and causes long FP lines.

But we shall see!

Don't they account for people coming in with their fp at night past their time? I always figured that was why Space Mountain stops giving out fast passes so early while Big Thunder has them till closing.

I dont know where you heard this, but this is simply not true! Space Mountain distributes FPs until the very last hour of operation as the other rides. I know because last time I was there I got a FP with a return time past 11 p.m. I think it was 11:15-12 a.m. or something like that.

It was just something I speculated. I didn't hear it from anyone. There's been times where I went at 9 or 10 and they were already out of fast passes.
