Fast Pass Question

Is there any rhyme or reason to how much time must elapse between the time you get a fast pass and when you can get the next one? And is there any way of knowing what that time will be before you pull a fast pass? For instance, if I go at 9am to get a fast pass for Test Track and the return time is 8 pm, when am I likely to be able to get a fast pass for another attraction? I'd hate to get the first fast pass and not be able to get another for the rest of the day. I know it used to be you couldn't get a new one until the return time for the first one, but I believe that has changed, right?

I could be wrong (someone correct if I am) but I believe that you can not get another fast pass until the beginning time passes for the fast pass you hold i.e. if you got a fast pass for test track that was from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. you could get a fast past for another ride anytime after 10:00 a.m.

I think you have to wait til the earliest return time on the fastpass OR 2 hours after you get the fastpass or sooner sometimes. It says on the fastpass.

This is right. They let you get another 2 hours later, or if you use your current pass within the 2 hours, you can get a new one. It's a pretty efficient system if you think about it; the most time you'll have to wait between fast passes is 2 hours. If you time it right, you can really play the rides off of each other. I went last some with my DW and my sister in-law, and we were able to bounce back and forth between Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster with fastpasses so that we rode each one 5 times in one day! We thought that was pretty good.

There is a sign indicating what time the fast pass return is, so you know before you insert your pass. IE, Test Track at 9am, above the FP machines it will say return times 10:20-11:20, you then decide if this works and if so get the fp.

Then,

In most cases, you can get a new fast pass 5 minutes after the start of your return window or 2 hours from the time you got it, whichever comes first. In the above example you can get a new FP at 10:25. Or if the return time was over 2 hours away you could still get a new fp at 11am, if you got that fp at 9am.

The time you can get another FP is printed right on the FP ticket when you get it. You don't have to actually ride the attraction to get the next FP. You can grab a FP for say Mission Space at 10:30 and then ride Test Track.

Its very easy to use, if your unsure at any point CM's are at every FP distribution point to help.

Another great thing we learned is that you can use any card to get the fast pass. So if you have a yound child that can't go on the bigger rides, and you want to ride on the Rock n Roller coaster, you can get 2 fast passes from there (using your ticket and your childs) or you can go and get the 2nd one one from Tower of Terror and you can use both passes!!!
