Fast Pass Question

My partner and I are going in a few weeks, and I had a question about how the parks are doing Fast pass now. Are the machines open the first thing in the morning? Like should we get a fast pass right away for Space Mountain and then ride Buzz Light Year and some of the other things... or get a fast pass for Space Mountain for later and then ride Space Mountain through the standby line. We will be there right when the park opens so there shouldn't be lines that are quite that bad. I remember the Fast Pass machines opening later and not right at the time of opening. Has this changed? thanks for all of the info.

If you like Space Mtn., that's the way to go.

Nothing has really changed with FP.

Early mornings (EMH or Regular) are the BEST time to ride standby on anything that is open.

Not every FP attraction will have the FP machines even open at that time, but Space Mtn. usually does.

The fastpass machines are open when the parks open, most of the popular ones anyway. If you really like Space Mountain and want to ride it a couple times, I would get a FP first thing, ride it, then come back later using the FP.

for space, get fp right away, ride it, go to buzz, ride it, back to space for fp, and grab another fp.

On most of the premier rides, the first return time is 1 hour after opening regardless the size of the stand by line; 10:00 if the park opens at 9:00.
