Fast Pass question and Undercover Tourist link

it's been almost five years since we've been to WDW. The good news is we are going in July for DS's high school graduation present! Now then, we are not staying on Disney property since only a portion of our trip will be at Disney. How does FP work if you aren't staying on property? Do I have to wait until I get to the park and activate my tickets to get my first FPs?

Second, I either didn't get the January Mousesavers Newsletter, or I deleted it without thinking about it. Can someone forward me the newsletter so that I can use the Undercover Tourist link to get pricing? I know it's not much different from the regular site's pricing, but I do want to check it out.

If you buy your park tickets in advance and link them to your My Disney Experience account, then you can book FP+ 30 days in advance as an offsite guest.

I know the 15th isn't too far away. I was just getting nervous with all the talk about ticket prices increasing. Since they have been going up in February the past two years instead of August as it was in the past, I'm just a little antsy.

I don't know if this is allowed (is UC tourist a sponsor of this site?) but if you have access to a Tickets at Work acct, they are doing buy 4, get 3 free promotion or, I think, a buy 3 get 2 free.
