Fast pass problem

So, we used the new fast pass system back in October, yes I think its a great idea.
Now I am getting the fast passes for this Octobers holiday but having a few issues as follows;

I only wanted two fast passes for one day, due to the time we are going to the park and our ADR, automatically the system gives you three even when you only want two. So I cancelled the unwanted fast pass.
I was hoping to use the third fast pass in the morning at a different park! However this does not seem to be possible, and now I can't seem to get the third fast pass back at all since cancelling it, I just have the two for the day.

Does anyone know a way around the system, do I have to book all three fast passes in the same park?
And now I have cancelled one can I get it back again without loosing the two I already have?

I do think it could be a bit more user friendly and flexible.
 
Your first 3 FPs of the day have to be in the same park and you can not get any more until those have been used. Your 4th FP can be in the same or a different park.

I don't know of anyway to get back a cancelled FP - have you tried amending the selections for the day? Other than that it might need to be a call to the help desk.
 
Three for the same park unfortunately.

It's a daft idea really. I only wanted one FP for our arrival day but we've had to book two we won't even use!
 
You could try cancelling all three and starting from scratch and then fiddling with the times in the change or modify section, as you can modify individual times once you've booked them. Some FP are very quick to go like Anna&Elsa Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, if they're the popular ones be careful. We booked three on our first day and only used one, we just cancelled whilst we were in the park.
I think FP+ still needs a lot tweaking, which I'm sure will happen, but it's such a complex and state of the art system available to millions it's going to take time IMO
 

Thank you, I thought that was the case, but thought I would check in case I was missing something. One of the days I cancelled a fast pass was a day that I got a good time for the mine train, so don't want to fiddle with that one and loose it.

I have to say apart from the fact its not too flexible, I do think this system is better than the old one, last October we changed a fast pass whilst waiting in line for another ride using our mobiles, it was so easy, so can't complain.

And the magic bands are just wonderful, such a shock when you leave the world to go back to real life and have to carry around money, cards, keys etc!!!
