Fast Pass Plus

So I have just started picking my Fast Passes for our trip Aug 11. I know, a little late doing this but I am just not sure when I want fast Passes for which rides...

So I have chosen some fast passes for the last part if our trip based upon our dining choices.

Has everyone prebooked their fast passes? And if I don't choose fast passes now can I get them in the park? Will there be any left in the parks?

And why is this there a fast passes for wishes??

Sounds like you're on the right track with coordinating them with your ADR's. You don't need to book them now but by not doing so, you run the risk of getting whatever is left and they might not interest you. I suggest at least picking something that you know you'll want to ride and adjusting later if you need to.

As for Wishes, there are a couple of reserved watching areas that are supposedly nice spots to watch from that give you some breathing room. I'd like to try it but my DH thinks it's a waste of a FP+. One thing to keep in mind, if you choose this FP+, you are limited to only the 3 fast passes for the entire day.

Once you've used your 3 fp's you can go to a kiosk inside the park and book a fourth (use it), then a fifth (use it) etc.... assuming there is availability. If you want to park hop and you've used your FP, you would go to a kiosk once you get to your second park and try to book a FP.

You can get a 4th FP once your first 3 are used or expired. You can get a 5th FP, once the 4th is used or expired, etc.

The problem with selecting Wishes for a FP is that you'll never get your 3rd FP used or expired, so you'll never have the opportunity to book any subsequent FP for that day.

For park hopping, you can only select 3 in one park. Some suggest choosing the FP's for the park you're hopping to and going standby for your first park of the day. However, if you choose to book your fp's for the first park and use them up or they expire, you can select your 4th FP at the park you're hopping to once you arrive. The problem is, you won't know what's available until you're there because they can only be booked at the kiosks. I have read, sometimes the CM's at the kiosk from the first park can provide you with more information regarding what's available at another park.
