Hi everyone,
My family of 4 adults and a teen will be at Disney July 14th,15th,and 16th for the first time. After a little more planing I have revised my fast passes to include earlier times. Can someone tell me if these logistically make sense especially for MK? I want to ride the rides in close proximity to one another at least for MK. I'm hoping to avoid running in circles back and forth in MK. Also should I sub any fast passes out? How likely are AK passes in afternoon? Is Haunted mansion likely without fastpass? What are options for additional fast passes in MK usually? Any common touring plans used for families with teens and adults for MK?

Day 1
Splash at 9-10
Thunder mountain railroad 10-11
Space mountain 11:15- 12:15
Get additionafast passes after lunch at GOG
Day 2
soarin 9;15
Mission space 10
Spaceship earth 11:25
Additional passes at AK and late MK
Day 3
Toy story mania
TOT
Frozen celebration
All early afternoon times to work around ADR

I really do appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you!

At 9am you shouldn't need a fastpass for splash. I'd get a fp for something different

I've never used a fp for haunted mansion, though the wait times can be higher, so I might swap out splash for hm. Though if you want to ride 7dmt I would get a fp for that instead of hm.

And at Epcot, are you planning on doing test track? Not sure what time the park opens, but if you want to ride to, I'd get there for rope drop and rush to test track, then go for the soarin fp

I like the touring plans from touringplans.com. My kids are little, so I've never done a teen/adult plan but I've been very please with the children's plans so I'd be confident the adult ones would be good as well

For MK I would plan to do Haunted Mansion and maybe Jungle Cruise first thing (Peter Pan too if that is one you want to do). Then after Jungle Cruise head to Big Thunder Mountain and do Splash after that when it's nice and hot. If you really want to do Splash first, FP+ something else. What about Seven Dwarfs Mine Train?

I usually don't need any fast passes the first hour of park opening. Well, with the exception of the biggest headliners like 7DMT, Soarin, Test Track, & Rocking Roller Coaster. But for 90% of the rides, the first hour of riding is very minimal waits. Plus at MK, most people head to fantasyland as soon as the rope drops, meaning adventureland and the others don't have bad waits at all. So.....I say, ditch your Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain FP's....However, Still go ride Splash Mountain at 9am like you have planned, then immediately walk over to Thunder Mountain once you get off of Splash Mountain. Then you can use one of your fast passes on Haunted Mansion and the other on whatever else you feel like doing. : ) I'd keep you space mountain fast pass as the line will be pretty long by 11 am.
