Fast Pass on New Rides Question

When I go to WDW, the new ride Expedition Everest should be open. I really want to get on this ride! When there is a new attraction at WDW, do the Fast Passes usually run out pretty quickly in the morning? Is it advisable to hit AK early so as soon as the park opens we can very quickly run to this attraction first and get a Fast Pass? :cool1:

FP for Soarin' was genearlly available for a good part of the day (until at least 1ish or 2ish). This was Memorial Day weekend.

I've never seen AK at full capacity so I would imagine that as long as you get there earlier in the day (before Noon) as opposed to later in the day, you should be okay.

No way to know of course until it opens though.

I would get fast pass then go on ride then use fast pass to ride again in a short period of time with out much wait. This is going to be a super busy new attraction. :goodvibes  :earsboy:

Thanks you guys. :flower: I've never been to DL but I am aware that they have a ride called Matterhorn Bobsleds. The description of that ride sounds similar to what Expedition Everest will be. What do you think?

My understanding is that this is an entirely new ride. We could see it under construction while we were there last month and from the looks of it, it is going to be one wild roller coaster. I've been on the Matterhorn at DL, and this looked nothing like it. You might want to check out the photos that have been posted on several web sites of it under construction. :cool1:

I wonder if this ride will have AP previews like Soarin and others? I hope to get there the 1st day it officially opens, hopefully in Feb. of next year!?

Thank you :flower: I really hope this ride is fully operational when I go (July 2006)!

And after you go, give us your review! :)

Disney will have Cast Member and AP holders previews for EE. However, I've never heard it would be ready until May of 2006...not February. Where did you see February? :confused3

If the FPs were only available until 1 or 2 PM were those FP return times for late evening, say 8 or 9 PM? Do they give out FP return times until the park closes? Since we will only have one night in Epcot, I am thinking of walking over for an FP to Soarin late morning (as soon as we check in and before we go to MGM) - was wondering if the FP return time might (hopefully!) be for when we get back to Epcot in the evening - anyone know?
