What happens if I get a fast pass but don't use it later on that day because we have to leave early. Can I use it the next day?
And they are dated and color-coded so the CMs will notice if you try to give them one from a different day.
Wow! I just can't believe how different things are between WDW and DL on this and many other issues. What happened to the Disney magic of CMs going out of their way to do something just because it makes/keeps the guest happy??? DL seems so much more strict and by the rules... other instances I've noticed this: not allowing someone to order a 'lunch' item at dinner, charging a plating fee for splitting meals, not allowing someone to order a special order birthday cake to be delivered to a restaurant if they are not staying at a DLR hotel, not replacing lost/misplaced passes with the exception of APs, etc...
Back to FPs... we've used FPs the following day (or even 2-3 days later in our trip) countless times during WDW trips! We simply explain that we had to leave early the day we pulled them and they're always been more than happy to allow us into the FP line assuring us that it's no problem at all!
Hmm. I have read the opposite many times on the WDW boards, that they are absolute sticklers even for letting you in an hour after the FP time expired. Let alone using them the next day?![]()
Those other things...have you noticed them in person, or just in what people say is and isn't allowed on the boards?
There have been many questions recently about ordering things to share without needing to pay the split plate, but I have seen no one with a definitive answer, or even an answer from experience. I personally didn't mind paying the split plate at Blue Bayou, b/c I wanted my own salad and the feeling that we each had the "right" to eat the bread, but I haven't seen anyone saying "they said absolutely no never ever".
Vacation Planning is who you order the cakes from, and VP is for the use of the people staying onsite. It is what it is.
As for ordering things at different times, if they have different menus, they have different menus. But there, too, I've seen questions but differing answers. Again with Blue Bayou, someone has said that they ordered the MC sandwich at dinner, others have said you can't b/c it's not on the menu. I think I've even seen someone say that they ordered the 3 cheese there (perhaps with a bit of pre-planning with Disney Dining), even though it's not on the menu at all! But still, I haven't seen anything definitive on it at all, only questions and answers on every side.![]()
If we have a FP at DL that we aren't able to use... I think I might try the next day - just to see what happens! LOL I'll let you know what happens.
great to take home and keep in a scrapbook![]()
