Fast Pass Marketing Gift?

I have been tossing around the purchase of DVC for about 5 years. Many different factors have stopped me, the largest is that I am a monorail hotel "junkie". If they where to build something on the rail I would be the first in line. Anyway, during our past trip I overheard a DVC sales rep telling a perspective customer that if they attended a sales meeting in return they would be given an UNLIMITED fast passs!!! Has anyone ever been able to receive one of these???

i am not sure about the fast passes, but there are rumors and its starting to looking like the rumors are going to be true, that the contemporary north wing will be refurb for dvc. cant wait, time for an add on by then.......

I just went on the tour in May, and you get 1 fast pass per person in your party, not unlimited. I took the meal vouchers (which added up to over $80.00) and thought that was a much better deal. I am a Deluxe Resort fanatic too, but just purchased by resale. As my kids get older, I thought the monorail (though convenient) would not be as important as deluxe resorts. Good luck!

and received 2 fastpasses for each member of our family. No mention of meal vouchers, which would have been nice!

Are these regular one ride fastpasses or a type that can be used all day at any fastpass machines? Just curious

You went up to the fast pass machine, inserted your card and a fast pass spits out with the current time on it. This way you can get right in the current fast pass line. The cards we had were able to be used only two times each (I tried 3 but they didn't work ). They cards said that they would "expire" in 2 days from the time of activation, which I'm assuming was done at the DVC tour.

Two fastpasses per person for taking the tour??????? That doesn't seem like much of an incentive to me. The meal vouchers are a better "freebie" IMHO.

When we toured OKW in '95 after we had already purchased, we got to make our own sundaes at the Commodore House (before it was made into more DVC rooms) and a family picture.

...............yes it is true.........i have gotten them twice and believe it or not never used them either time..................
