Fast pass + limited to the # of tickets in package?

I tried to get my fast passes this morning, and was stopped after 2 days of booking some. Is it because there are currently only 2 day park passes listed on our resort package? My son and I are probably going to add another day or two, but were going to wait till we got there to upgrade them. The days we go to each park are tentatiave, based on when we might be able to snag a BOG res., as well as working around tee times.

Probably one of the biggest FP+ complaints is that you must lock in months ahead of time what park you are going to on what day and if you decide to make a change, you have to hope for FP+ availability.

Thank you for the prompt responses. I'm on hold right now with WDW to check on the price for either adding 2 days to 2 of our passes, or adding parkhopper plus 1 day. I thought we couldn't add days until we checked in, so will ask when they pickup.
