OK - I've read through several sites and posts, but still slightly confused on how FAST PLUS+ really works? Can someone please explain in "LAMAM" Terms. Also, is the regular old fashioned fast pass ticket and stand-by line lanes still open or what????

Sorry, but dreadfully confused. Have vacation planned for late August and what to be sure I don't miss anything on this works for our trip. Staying in Disney resort w/hopper.

Appreciate Feedback! Many Thanks!

Magic Bands are an adjustable bracelet with an RFID chip. When/if fully “loaded” and working properly, the MB:
Serves as your room key
Allows you to make room charges, using the band instead of a room card (as before)
Is your park admission
Stores your FP+
You can link the reservations and FP+ of all in your party to each other’s MB.

IN THEORY, most of this can be done from home via WDW web site or smart phone “My Disney Experience” app.

FP+ are FP that you select in advance (via WDW website or MDE app) and are stored on your MB. There are a limited number of attractions for each park that are an option for FP+; you may choose (only) 3 attractions per park on a given day, and only one park per day. To use one of these, you touch your MB to an RFID reader at the attraction and it allows you into the FP line. Then again in line where you would normally hand your paper FP to a CM, you touch it to yet another RFID reader.

There are no more paper FP.

Does this help any?
