I can't seem to figure out what the best things to do are!

Any suggestions? I am mostly concentrating on things for the kids because they are too little to go on most things but they love rides...

centering things around our ADRs is making it a little tough - and I feel like there isn't much time to do anything else, lol

I can't wait til our next trip when I will know so much more, :rotfl2:

and i wanted to do 2 in MK and 1 in HS for a certain day but it won't let me do that - it just erased my MK FP+ and gave me 3 in HS that i didn't want!

You can only book at 1 park/day. Either all 3 at MK or all 3 at HS. That has pretty much been a restriction from the start. Book them where you will send the most time. Use regular FP for the other.

Unfortunately I don't know what the options are as our resort was not testing when were there and we do not have the activation for our next trip yet. Here are the ones most friends tend to us FP+ for:

MK

Story Time with Belle
Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Peter Pan - The line is always the longest.
Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin

You may want to go online and show the kids some of the options and let them pick their one or two favorites and book those.

HS

TSMM
Star Tours
RnR
ToT

Not sure what others are options, but that is all we usually ride in HS that would have long waits.

GREAT! Thanks! Is there a list somewhere of which rides usually have the longest lines?

this is a little more overwhelming than i thought it would be

I'm a big fan of touringplans.com. Even if you don't want to regiment every moment of your day, you can get a pretty good idea of the crowds and lines on the days you're at the parks. It will even make recommendations on which rides to get FP+ for. There's a small fee for a subscription and obviously they get it wrong on occasion, but considering what I'm spending on vacation, it's well worth it :)

thanks! I have looked at that before - will look more in depth this weekend

Girls or boys? My absolute top ones for the under 40 inch crowd would be:

MK
Enchanted Tales with Belle (for girls)
Peter Pan
Those 2 would be my absolute must FP+ Other possibilities that would be good for the littles that often have longer lines are Winnie the Pooh or the Jungle Cruise. Also if they open FP+ up for the parades for your week and you think your kids would enjoy them, you might want to do that. We did the FP+ for both MK parades last week, and it was much easier than having to stake out a spot an hour in advance. Our biggest issue with FP+ is that 3 is definitely not enough at MK.

HS
Toy Story Midway Mania
Fantasmic if you think they will like it (too intense for DD when she was 2)

AK
Safari

EPCOT
This one most of the FPs that we use are for the over 40 inch crowd. You might want to FP the Character connection to meet Mickey and Minnie- but at least last week the lines never seemed too long for that.
If you think the kids might like Illuminations, we did a FP+ for that and it was great. When DD was little, that one was too loud for her and she didn't like the fireworks being that close.

You could also always FP+ on of the bigger rides and the adults could take turns riding- while the other watched the kids. We did that with regular FP before DD was 40 inches (and after when she refused to ride some of the big rides). FP+ seems to practically force you to have 3, and it won't let you do the same ride more than once, so if there isn't anything else you think you need one for for the littles at EPCOT, DHS, or MK, just pick something. You don't have to use it.

Have fun! There really isn't much the under 40 inch crowd can't ride at WDW. Just a few things in each park. They will have plenty of rides they can do!

I am so glad I was told about this site! I don't know what I would do without you guys!!!!

I read this somewhere else on this site... it was really helpful.

I just spread mine out over the day. For MK, I started on the fantasyland side of the park and worked my way over since we have ADRs at Crystal Palace for diner. It was kinda stressful figuring it all out, but I feel good about it now. :goodvibes

MK with little ones does have some variables.
Peter Pan is currently closed for refurbishment. Don't know when it is back open. You may want to check and verify.
ETWB is a must FP+ especially if you have a girl. Often times right now it has longest wait at MK.
I have read that the waits for the Princesses can get long.
By around noon Winnie the Pooh can have a long wait. Just keep in mind it has an interactive queue that for children can be fun.
Dumbo and Barnstormer can get long in the afternoon. If you had to FP+ one do Barnstormer. Dumbo has a playground for children for its wait line. The hard thing will be getting them out of the playground to the ride.

AK -
Safari
If tall enough Kali River Rapids isn't bad.
Other than that if there is a convienient show time for Lion King or Nemo then fine, use a FP+. Otherwise maybe the Character Meet and greet.

EPCOT
Without knowing their height Soarin isn't bad but TT can be a little intense for some children (it was my DGD 5).
Turtle Talk with Crush
Not sure you need a FP+ for any others for small children. Spaceship earth can back up a little in the morning.

HS
TSM - Must FP+. Probably the biggest must do FP+ in all of WDW unless you want to be there at RD (30 minutes before park scheduled open).
Besides that except for convenience you do not need one. My DDs when 11 loved Fantasmic but depending on your childs age it could be a little intense for a smaller child.

There is a limit of 3 FP+ but if some are more for conveience vs necessary, you may just want to use 1 or 2 at some parks. Some of the attractions and shows really do not require FP.
