Fast Pass Info please!

Hi tomorrow,our family are going to eurodisney. We went a few years ago,but! cant remember anything about the fast pass! Can you only have 1 fast pass at a time?, and where do you get a fast pass from in the first place please!?
Also! the fast pass is availabel for 6 rides? Sorry for asking "dopey " questions!, but im not too good with computers!

There is some offical info on the Disneyland Paris website:

You can have 1 fastpass per ticket per attraction at a time.

So you can have a fastpass for Big Thunder mountain & Space Mountain at the same time, but only 1 fastpass for each of them at once.

The Fastpasses are obtained near the entrance of the ride, just pop your ticket in the machine and the fast pass is printed.

Is it "better" to go around the park and get as all the fast passes, say as we go into the park?
Or just go into say discoveryland, and get a fastpass for star tours and space mountain, stay there for an hour or two, then go into say! Fantasyland get a fastpass for peterpans flight, stay there for an hour or two then go to say frontierland?
Again sorry for asking "dopey" questions!, but as we will be there for this Tuesday and Wednesday only!, I imagine the park will be "jampacked"!
Actually, I`ve just read this post, it doesnt make much sense to me even! So basically is it best to go around everywhere and get fastpasses first?, or just go into each different land, go with the flow and get the fastpasses for each "land"?

It depends on the crowds. Fastpasses do run out. I did the , go from one ride to another and pick up the passes thing. However, that made us do two laps around the park in a row which was alot of walking. If the park isnt so crowded you can wait. Peter Pan runs out first.

I stayed in one of the hotels in DLP
and what i remember is that the days that you stay you get Fastpasses at the hotellobby when you check in
So if you stay 3 days with 4 grown up
you get 12 free fastpasses 3 per person

You get Hotel Fastpass from the priceclass of Sequoia Lodge and up (I think). The system has recently changed. You get for each day of your stay 1 Fastpass per person, which can only be used between 14h and 18h and on the day mentioned on the ticket.

What I remember is that the Fastpasses can't expire
But you have too use them within the days of your stay
So nothing like only too use 14h and 18h of that day and a date on it

But I can be wrong and maybe it's only for Europe residends and not for U.S. residends.
