Fast pass+ for entire party??

I'm new to fast pass+, if I want an A&E meet fast pass do I need it for my entire party? We are a family of 6, myself, dh, ds16, dd14, dd4, dd2. Only dd4 and maybe dd14 would be meeting. Would I need a fastpass if only taking pics?? Since we have access to baby swap my thought is to do half for the meet and greet and the other for 7dmt for different times of course. So in reality with baby swap we could all ride 7DMT and save an additional fastpass for my older kids to ride say space mt since myself and the girls wouldn't ride anyway. I guess I'm asking why I would waste any of my husband and sons fastpass selections if they wouldn't go through the line?? Hope this rambling makes sense to someone lol.

Everyone entering the line 3yo or older needs a FP. Once you've selected FP for your entire group (your only option initially), you can modify individuals as you wish subject to availability.

Your youngest won't need a FP as she doesn't have a park ticket, but you will need one if you are accompanying your other children.
