Fast Pass Details Needed

I understand the basics of Fast Pass. I realize a person basically can be 'holding' one at a time. But can a person get more than one pass (successively) for a given ride? Thanks.

I have a big FastPass FAQ on my web site with details about the system if you are interested. But to briefly answer your questions:

- you can hold more than one FastPass at a time. Typically, you can get another every 45 to 60 minutes, although it may be as long as two hours during busy periods.

- you certainly can! There are no pre-determined limits on how many FastPasses you can get per day, both total and per attraction. So if you wanted to, you could keep getting passes for the same attraction throughout the day.

You can get another Fast pass as soon as the time for your current one has passed, sometimes even sooner... I just keep trying until it spits one out at me...

IE:

1000 Get fast pass for Aerosmith return time 1130-1145
1005 Get in line for Aerosmith
1045 Ride Aerosmith
1050 Get in line for Aerosmith
1125 Ride Aerosmith
1130 Get in Fastpass Line for Aerosmith
1135 Ride Aerosmith
1145 Get another fast pass for Aerosmith return time 1330-1345

Repeat as needed

At Disneyland there are certain fast-pass attractions that are off the loop. That means, that you can get a fast-pass for that attraction and not have to wait to get a fast-pass at one of the attractions on the normal fast-pass loop.

Does anyone know if WDW has these 'free' fast-passes?

Which rides in Disneyland are off the loop? Perhaps they are off the loop in DW also?

Not as such. Each theme park has its own loop, and they are not interconnected, but since they are so far apart that's not much of a benefit to the average guest. Within a park, all attractions are on the same network and know exactly when you can get your next pass.

There are Surprise FastPasses (i.e. "free" bonus FPs) though, but right now it seems as if they are only issued intermittently by the Test Track distribution location.
