Fast pass ? booking late

I spaced picking my FP at the 60 day mark about 2 weeks ago. So the popular rides are not available. We decided to follow Josh's suggestions on what park to go to and for the first time we are avoiding EMH. We tend to get a lot done during those but we are attending at a different season this trip.

What should our strategies be, pick fast passes in the moring-noon and hope to get more passes after or pick for noon-close and ride standby and try to get many ride in early? We have 4 kids are usually went Aug/Sept with minimal wait times. We are now going Nov 1.

I didn't think I would have to plan so much ahead of time. It seems more stress. I keep thinking what about lunch, parade times, busier times, temp and if we wil need a break, will we have enough time if I schedule this way, how far away is that ride from the last FP. UGH!

My husband isn't being any help so I though I would ask the experts!

November is a beautiful time of the year to go to Disney World! It's nowhere near as hot and humid as it is in August-the nights can even get chilly. It can be a bit crowded with Jersey Week and the Food & Wine Festival, especially at Epcot on the weekends, but the temperatures are far more enjoyable!

I've heard that it's best to choose early fastpasses, so that you can add on later in the day after your original 3 are used. We just pick the best times for what's available, and go straight to the lines for anything we couldn't get a fastpass for.

I wouldn't worry so much about the planning. Either way, you're at Disney World! You can always adjust your fastpasses as you go, either through the app or at the kiosks.
