Fast pass and rider swap question

Does DL offer rider swap?
Can you split up your FP or does the whole family have to get the same FP?
We are traveling there next summer and will have a 7 year old and a 5 year old that may not want to ride everything. We're only there for 2 days so wanting to maximize our time there and not have wasted FP.

Yes there is rider swap and no, you don't all have to get fast passes for the same attraction. You only need one fast pass per parent if you plan on using rider swap, because the person using the swap doesn't need a FP.

Not all attractions have rider switch, but these are the attractions that offer it according to Disneyland.com:

(This can vary somewhat by CM, but be prepared to take the child with you to the attraction to obtain the rider switch pass. The CM may want to see the child before issuing the rider switch pass. It seems like RSR and Space are the most common ones where the CMs will ask to see the child.)
