Fast Pass and different length stays/tickets

Sorry if this is a repeat but I have been searching and can't find the "right" answer. Kind of a confusing situation. I am going down to WDW for a conference in October. The rest of my family will be joining me a few days after I get there. I have a Contemporary room for the first 3 nights then a BLT tower room for the rest of the week. This has 2 different confirmation numbers and all of us are listed on both reservations. I have already purchased tickets but again they are for 2 different lengths (I mean I'm sure I don't need to go to EVERY meeting).

Question is how will the fast pass reservations work? Will I be able to book for all 4 of us from the first hotel date? Is it based on room dates for each reservation number? Does the ticket length affect how far out you can book?

Thanks guys. Worse case scenario I'm up at the first date and see what I can do.

Pretty sure you can make them for everyone 60 days out from your first stay.

Just had a similar experience a few weeks ago and that's how it worked for me.

If a guest has X number of days on a ticket, that guest can only book X number of days of advanced FP+.
Those days can be consecutive or nonconsecutive.
Each member of your group can have a different length ticket, but each can only book for the maximum number of ticket days on each of her/his tickets (consecutive or nonconsecutive days.)

The earliest day that can be booked is 60 days from the first date of a WDW resort stay, regardless of the number of days worth of tickets owned.
After that first date is reached, you can likely book all through both separate resort stays at one time.

Tagging on to that - if I have two room only reservations , totaling 7 days of fast passes, and want to use my annual pass for fastpasses on an 8th day (within the next 30 days), am I (should I be) able to reserve that 8th day of fastpasses?

Things may have changed since April, which would be great, but in April we had two separate 60 day marks for our split stay reservation- on my first 60 day mark it would not let me make fast passes past the day of checkout, and I had to wait for the 60 day mark for our second check in to make reservations for the second resort days. We were pretty bummed, as it meant no Anna/Elsa fast passes for that trip, but we survived!

I think you're going to be out of luck. The system allows AP holders to book fp+ for 7 days or length of stay, not 7 days and length of stay. Give it a try, but you'll likely have to cancel one of your later FP+ days in order to book the earlier one.
