Fast access if kids in character?

Silly question, but in disney france, your family can get fast access to a ride if your child is dressed up as the "corresponding" character. So for example, if your dd is dressed ar tinkerbell, you can get access to the fastpass lane of Peter pan without having any fp. Only for the rides though, not for character meets. Does anyone know if this also goes for disneyworld?
