My brother told me today that he read that disney might start making offsite guest pay for fasspass I believe he said he read it on wdw forums I couldn't find anything on the Web. Has anyone heard this

FastPass ..... Disney is way too deep into the FREE FastPass that I don't ever seeing that happen. Besides they are tied to your tickets, which everyone buys and pays the same.

A Priceless Perk
Disney FastPass+ service lets you reserve access to select attractions, entertainment and more. With the purchase of a ticket or Annual Pass, you can start making selections as early as 30 days before you arrive, or up to 60 days before check-in when you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package. And the best part? There is no extra charge for this complimentary benefit.

So in a way they're already charging for (earlier) access to fast pass.

If they want to, it'll be pretty easy to introduce more ways of upcharging and then claim it's because of popular demand and serving people better.

If they introduce gold day admission tickets it's simple to add gold+ with 6 FP+s to "give you more options ... more ways to enjoy the parks! [TM]"

That or a thousand other possible ways of adding FP upcharges... If they're thinking along those lines ...

Not predicting it, just acknowledging the possibility.

Well there's been constant rumors that Disney wants to up the amount of preselected FPs per day for Resort Guests on property. That would incentive increased head count at WDW Resorts and would allow them to advertise another reason they can charge more for hotels.

Free buses, free wristbands, and free extra FP. (free after you make the purchase)
The Disney Difference.

So I'm not the only one who drops my t sometimes. Sometimes I too am tempted to write "fass pass." Now that I think about it that's how I say it too.

I doubt that they will. How much could they charge for just three fastpasses where you might still have to wait at times?

Any rumor that starts with someone told me they heard/read is already off to a rocky start imho.

I'm not sure where this sibling read this info, but if it was anywhere online you can bet it would be posted all over these forums.
