Fasspass for EE

Our party of 13 is planning to go to AK on a non morning EMH day (Jun 5). We plan to be at the turnstiles prior to opening time, then once park officially opens 2 of us take everyone's ticket to EE to get fastpasses while the others hang out in the Oasis and get some character autographs.

I have seen mentioned that fastpass machines may not be available for some rides until 30-60 minutes after park opening. Does anyone know if we can get fastpass for EE as soon as the park opens?

Also which is the fastest/shortest way to get to EE? Thru Asia or Dinoland?

We were at AK on Monday April 24th for early opening. I went quickly ahead and got fast passes for EE straight away. My family caught up and we went right on. They loved it. We then went over to the Safari (by far the most animals we have ever seen). Then they were thrilled that we could go back to EE and ride again. - there was already a line by then.
Sorry for the long winded response but the short of it is that, YES, on that morning the fastpass was available at opening.
(My kids were quite impressed with me!)

What was the return window for your FP? Did you have a wait for the Safari? How long did it take you to walk from one place to the other?

Asia. Its closer to the ENTRANCE and FP Distribution of EE.

Thanks for the Asia path info. I had read somewhere when the CM walks the rope, it will open Dinoland first and many make a mad dash toward EE through Dinoland. I think we will continue to walk the rope with the CM to Asia and get EE fastpass from that direction!

What was the return window for your FP? Did you have a wait for the Safari? How long did it take you to walk from one place to the other?

Yeah, me too. We plan to get a FP first thing when park opens then ride EE, then ride something else and return to use our FP for EE.
