Farwell Tomorrowland Stage

Oh I hope they start performing in Cosmic Rays more often!!! That would be so great! I know I would go get something to eat and sit down to watch the performance! How many students does that stage hold? I know our HS Chorus barely fit on the old Tomorrowland Stage!!!

If I recall correctly from last Sunday, the stage that seemed more of a temporary stage that was occasionally used had a barricade around it.
There were performers in that stage area that looks like a small amphitheater. That was the first time I have ever seen that area used.

Slightly off topic, but the Skyway station in Fantasyland will be incorporated into the refurbishment of 'Small World.' The entrance/exit to SW will be modified for crowd flow issues, and the Skyway station will be converted into stroller parking. At least that's what I recall from the CM on a recent KttK tour.

Our dance group both performed on the Tomorrowland stage (6 years ago) and the Galaxy stage by Buzz Lightyears (Last Week). I for one thought the one by Buzz was far more superior as they were not in the direct sunlight, and there were benches for the audience. Also yes, since there were benches there were people other than family members watching the show. Since there was a covering over the benches it offered a reprieve from the heat and a chance to get off one feet for a short time. Also as a perk Buzz was there to greet everyone, sign autographs and pose for photos as they entered for the show.

One does not realize the commitment and hard work it takes for those kids to perform at WDW. To perform is very exhausting and when you add 90 degree heat to the mix it is truly amazing to watch the pride and smiles on their faces along with their familes who are there to share this moment to make a truly magical memory.

The Tomorrowland Stage will removed beginning on Thursday, June 10, 2004. To eliminate any Guest show issues, a construction wall will be installed around the perimeter of the stage. The removal process will take approximately 4-6 weeks.

Thank God for that...it was a real eyesore if you ask me.

I beg your pardons, the Tomorrowland Kiddie Concierge location is in the old FedEx lounge. The Skyway building is currently only utilized for restroom facilities.

I saw the Kiddie Concierge while we were riding the TTA yesterday. Now I know what it is. Good idea!
