I tried bicker's suggestion and IE is faster. I did freeze once while in full screen mode.

Do you have the "eye" icon on the upper left checked? If checked it makes the game run in a more graphics/data intensive mode. When unchecked the game doesn't look as nice but it loads faster.

The Care/Bonus package is sent via free gifting, the gift tag line is “Here’s a special bonus package with fuel, farm cash, and other goodies. Come claim it now!”. It offers 3$FV, 1 fuel refill and 1 Unwither as well as the 1 of 3 options, 10 Building Materials, 3 Puppy Kibble or 10 Spring eggs. Please note the 10 Building Materials are 2 of each of the following, Bricks, Nails, Boards, Horseshoes and Harnesses. It seems that this offer is limited to 1 per farmer.

For those farmers that have not visited their farms for seven days, FarmVille will be sending them a special “surprise” for being a neglectful farmer. Note, besides not visiting your farm for seven days, in order to receive the prize you will have had to give FarmVille a valid email address.

I'll have to try that, since I'm a Firefox bigot. I wonder if it's the same for Mafia Wars too and the other Zynga games.

FV is actually much faster on Google Chrome. I use Firefox for a lot of things, but was having speed issues with FV, but not nearly as bad on Chrome. I don't use IE anymore, period.

You need to seed after you join and then you can harvest. For instance, I was seeding and then harvesting in chunks of 12. Clear and seed 12 spots and then harvest 12 different spots.

I use Google Chrome for almost everything now, including playing the games on facebook. It, too, seems much faster to me.

I don't use IE for anything either but I do use Firefox for posting on the Dis and other chatboards that I'm a member of.

Anyone else having issues with FV tonight? I keep getting - "Saving your farm please do not close browser" message. Problem is it never seems to finish saving and when I refresh my screen I've lost quite a bit of my harvesting progress...

I can't get into any games tonight. None of them load at all. I did get into farmville though the website ..but couldn't get it to do anything through facebook at all.

Who is still doing the co ops? I have earned all of the gold prizes, but decided to still do them for the XP. My sisters and I work as a team, so we usually have 7 of us that join the same co op, and that is enough for gold with the size farms we have. If anyone every ones to join us, feel free! I start them, so you should be able to find me if I am already your friend. If not, shoot me a PM if you would like more FV friends!
