For those of you (like me) who cannot get on FT today, I found this:

There are some network connectivity issues between our network provider and Facebook servers.

We are working on solving this issue, but don't have an ETA at the moment.

We will be extending the "Ready to Harvest" time by 1 day, so you will not lose any crops due to this down time. Come back tomorrow and your crops will still be good as new.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

I have been able to get on a few times this morning, but it's running really slow today, slower than usual. Im wondering if I should just go ahead and get my crops harvested while I can get on there. Was hoping to hire some neighbors to do it but none seem to be around.

ETA: ooooooooooooo ooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooo! Now I get a green square, as if it partially loads. That's a SLIGHT improvement!! I'll keep trying. Want to save my crops! I planted almost my whole farm in 1-day crops yesterday morning, when I usually do longer-growing ones so that this is never a worry. Figures!!

I was able to get on this morning and plow some new fields and plant. But I couldn't accept any gifts, or go to neighbors. It keeps throwing me off now so I can't get back on.

I am absolutely NOT addicted to this game. I have no idea why I am cranky and have the shakes right now. . .

I just discovered this thread, and I admit, I'm a FarmTown addict also. It frustrates me that I sent neighbor invitations to friends weeks ago (friends that already have established FarmTowns) and they haven't responded. But, I, too, am hopelessly addicted to this game!

I've got about 4 people like that, sent neighbor requests about a week ago, no response. I know they have been on!

I'm always up for new neighbors.

I was on earlier this AM but haven't been able to get on since. I just tried a few minutes ago & still can't get on FT. I was going to experiment to see if I can change my farmer back into a girl but I guess I'll wait a while to do that.

Go to the Farm Town Dis group on Facebook. Under the who's who a lot of people have listed their DIS name. You can send a friend request along with a message letting them know you are from the DIS for Farm Town. I have had several people send me requests from there.

I am on there and you are welcome to add me!

Does anyone have anything fun going on with their farms? Any exciting plans? Visited any super-cool farms lately?

I am proud to say I have finally made a proper farmyard for my animals. Bought a barn and a couple of silos - made them the 'cheater' pond. I also just upgraded to the largest size farm, wanted to do that before I really got into planning my farm. I still don't have a house for myself tho, lol.

I've been stealing ideas from other farms and jot them down in my little FT notebook I keep handy.

A non-Dis neighbor had hedge stacked in front of her house and it looked like stairs so the house looks like its on a hill. I want to do that at some point because it looks really cool.
