Having Palo's timing conflicts! Tell me, recent Magic cruisers, how did you like the variety show on the last night? Is it a "not to be missed" event?

Also, do they still have Who Wants To Be a Mouseketeer on Wednesday night on the Magic?

Since I'm on a roll, does anyone know if any RECENT menus are posted anywhere?

Thanks!:wave2:

I don't think either event would be better than going to Palos.

The farewell variety show is great, nice way to end a cruise. It features the characters from the previous shows. It's nice to spend the last night of the cruise with the servers as well. Maybe you could go to Palo's on a sea night and catch the matinee of Disney Dreams or The Golden Mickey's.

We enjoyed the variety show...lots of jokes about cruising on the Magic. I really like the rotation through the dining rooms and enjoy the last night in particular. If we were going to try Palo's dinner we'd pick an evening earlier in the week.

We have cruised DCL three times and only ate at Palo the last time. The company was great and the food was fine, but we doubt we will do it again because we enjoy the diningroom ambiance and relationship with the servers.

No one can make this decision for you. No matter what you do, you will miss something.

We skipped Palos on our last cruise b/c we didn't want to miss the last night but in the end I think going on the last night would be the right thing to do (we did that two summers ago.) Palos is a special dinner and adds an extra ambiance to your DCL cruise!

We went to Palo on the last night of our cruise, but by then I think we were tired of eating and didn't enjoy it as much as we could have (I know, blasphemy!)

This time, we are going to do brunch at Palo instead. Not only will the meal be earlier in the week, but the view of the ocean in the daylight will be awesome. Plus, we have heard the brunch is amazing.

We tend to fall in love with our fantasitic servers. So, this allows us to eat at Palo but still enjoy dinner with our servers each night.

I agree with the previous post... after a week of pigging out I tend to not enjoy the last meal as much as I enjoyed the earlier ones, so if I do go to Palo, I try to make it one of my earlier dinners. But Palo never is on my must do list anyway. Its great food, but I enjoy the main dining rooms just as much.
