Farewell breakfast

I was thinking it might be nice to give our guests the option of breakfast the day after. I don't want to do anything catered due to cost, but I thought I would make a very large group reservation for a sit down breakfast in the Boardwalk area and let people order an entree and non-alcoholic drink. My question is, how easy is it to make a very large group reservation? Like 30ish people? Also, I will have the tables in wonderland card. Can I split it into 3 checks and use the card on all 3?

Hi-

I am doing the same thing the day after our wedding. We are not calling it farewell, but I thought it would be nice to make a reservation somewhere. I called the reservation number and they advised me of the places that a. would accommodate a large number of people and b. that would take a reservation. The list is not as big as I thought it would be. I was able to make a reservation at Chef Mickey’s for 31 people. So, I posted that info. on our wedding website and its a first come first serve. Everyone is paying for themselves as well. We are doing a cocktail party the night before the wedding with food and open bar, so I figured it was ok not to pay for the breakfast.

When I called I know I was also able to make a reservation for 30 people at the Crystal Palace, where Pooh and friends do their character breakfast. I think if memory serves me right, Cinderella's Castle was like 12- something very small. It just depends on the restaurant you had in mind and if they could accommodate a larger crowd.

The woman I spoke to at reservations was very helpful and we went through all the restaurants together- so I am sure they will help you

We had breakfast with our guests at the Kona Cafe the day after our VR (tonga toast yummy)!! However, when I was looking at options, I contacted 'Fresh' at the Dolphin. Their breakfast buffet menu looks really delicious and is quite reasonable. They also have a private room available (I assume minimums would apply). The only reason we did not run with it is because we were all staying a long way from the S/D and I was worried about the logistics of getting eveybody there first thing in the morning. It is really near the Boardwalk (but you would already know that - sorry!!)

I looked at the options at the Swan/Dolphin so thank you for letting me know they can accommodate. I was looking at Kouzzina...it's not as popular for Breakfast so I'm hoping it wouldn't be too hard to get a large group reservation.

The best way to do it is to call the Group Reservations line 407-939-7700. You will get the standard line about how they can't guarantee you'll all sit together and that you need to reserve the first or last seating.

The TIW card supposedly can only be used for up to 10 people, on a single check (you sometimes hear of them giving people the discount on the entire bill for more than 10 people, but they're not supposed to). If you split the checks, you'd need an additional card for each check.

I made reservations at 1900 Park Fare. They would only let me reserve for 30 people and it had to be 8 am time slot. Like another poster stated, I'm just going to state that it is first come first serve and list the price per person so people know they are paying their own way.
