Which one would you go to first? We are DLR vets and are visiting for one day only this Sunday, Nov 22. We always have MM and hit FL before the crowds. We WON'T have MM on Sunday, but we will be there at regular opening. We've never done Pixie Hollow and my DD's 7 and 6 want to.

Would you hit FL first or Pixie Hollow?
When does Pixie Hollow open?
How early do people start lining up for it?

What is the best Pixie Hollow strategy?

TIA!

I would do Fantasyland first, we did Pixie Hollow right after the afternoon parade and it was pretty slow (we sat right across from the enterance to it).

We did Pixie Hollow last Sunday... we were not at the Park by park opening... I think we arrived around 10:00 and we did Space and then went to Pixie Hollow and it was only about a 30 minute wait...

Bummer about not having the MM ~ even getting there early for regular opening will mean a crowded FL for you ~ on MM when we don't have access to the MM we start the day in Adventure or Frontier Land - what do you hope to accomplish in FL? Sounds like for example if MM starts at 8am Regular opening at 9am PH would open @ 10am.

We hope to do Peter Pan, Dumbo, Casey Junior, Storybook Canals, Tea Cups, and Matterhorn.

I agree that not having MM is a bummer. (I am used to being the first person of the day on Peter Pan!) I've never not had it on a MM day, so I'm a bit unprepared with my planning. I asked a similar question about how to handle FL in an earlier post. People responded that I should hit FL first anyway.

If you do another land first, when do you FL? We can FP BTMRR and IJ, so going there first isn't a big deal.

I figured I would head to FL to see what the lines looked like. I know from previous trips on Sunday mornings, that the mornings are slow, even after regular opening. I am hoping it will be the same this Sunday.

I also know that it will get very crowded by 10 or 11 am. I am hoping to have FL done and a good start on FP's by then!

With PP being on your wish list I'm afraid you're in for a long wait ~ on MM days if you're not there within the 1st 10 min. or so of the day it's at a 30 min. wait at minimum. For our 2 days in early Dec. I don't plan on riding PP ~ we'll arrive late morning on a Mon. and we're just there through Tues. ~ we're AP holders so no MM for us ~ I waited too long to book DLH or PP - prices got way too high ~ especially since I have a $59 room at HoJo ~ we love it there!

During our WDW visit last month we rode PP (that doesn't sound very good:scared:) a few times ~ but we didn't ride Dumbo once :scared1:!

I personally would avoid FL at opening, since you'll have people clogging the lines already. I'd go to Pixie Hollow instead, and get that done, and figure out another time to get the FL stuff done.

Then again, lines are only going to get longer through the day, so it's all going to depend on what your priorities are. Since they haven't done PHollow yet, it might be more important.

Bumbershoot, you understand my dilemma quite well! We'll just take it as it comes.

Thanks for all the comments!
