Hey everyone! With disney's latest announcement about Fantasyland not too long ago, I wondered what everyone thought about what will become of the expansion.
Seven Dwarfs Mine rollercoaster- I am totally hyped about this! It sounds pretty cool, and I am looking foward to seeing the final result.
Little Mermaid ride-it seems like it will have some great features, but I'm not a fan of the clam mobile, and the Nemo ride at Epcot.
New Dumbo-I don't know about this one.....I think they should leave the original alone!

I know I left some things out, but I also want to know what you guys think! Thanks! :wizard:

I am super excited about the new Beauty and the Beast area its my fav disney movie and I can't wait to see that. I'm kind of sad about toontown only cause I really loved going to Mickey's house but its seems that the house will be moved to a new location. I agree with you on the Dumbo ride...

They should have left Dumbo alone, everything else I love! I just wish Toontown wouldn't be demolished. :/

I'm really sad about the dumbo ride. i think they should leave it alone. as for toontown, idunno... its that one place that i feel like a baby again :goodvibes
i wish they wouldnt tear it down, but im pretty excited about the new restauraunt, and especially the seven dwarfs mine rolloercoaster, because I LOVVVEEEE snow white

ahahahaha :D

I'm trying to understand why people want Dumbo to be left alone. They're going to make the line move so much faster, plus it won't really be a line. You get to play interactive games while waiting, and I'm sure they'll have benches and places to sit down in the tent.

I think now that they are having the new rollercoaster boys will want to be in Fantasyland more. Its a great idea. That many meet and greets seemed kind of like a waste of space, so I'm glad they are decreasing it a little.

I can't wait for all the changes to be done!

I think people want the original Dumbo, just because of it's history and the awesome view it gives you. With that being said, I am lookig foward to the interactive part. I do agree with you on the character meet-and-greets. I think there were tooooooo many! They are fun, but not my favorite.

I'm very excited about the Mine Coaster, the new Beauty & The Beast area and the new Little Mermaid ride. Those are all great ideas for Fantasyland. I am however not happening with them tearing down Toontown and SWSA. I never got to experience Toontown and was hoping this trip, but I guess not :( And SWSA was my first ride ever at WDW. It may not be one of the most high-tech rides ever, but it was a great ride. The new construction I'm not fond of is the double size of Dumbo and adding a new meet-and-greet for the princesses. Dumbo was... perfect! Perfect, where it was. Perfect as a simple ride, carnival ride, etc. whatever you would like to call it. Nothing was wrong and nothing should've been changed. Though, of course, they want to make it bigger and better by making TWO Dumbo rides along with a circus and the whole shebang. That is just going to ruin the ride completely. The ride will be extravagant, but the magic of it all will be gone. You will probably not see much in this area of the park and when you do see something, the canopies will block your view. It is just going to be outright ruined. As for the Princess Meet-And-Greet, though the princesses are going to be in need of a new meet-and-greet in MK, why destroy a classic attraction and replace it with a meet-and-greet? It gives that attraction such shame and won't get a good outcome from those who truly enjoyed the attraction. I'm half-and-half on this, but for the most part, I'm excited about this expansion. There is going to be so much new to explore and you have to remember all along, Uncle Walt's plan was to have an unfinished park and it be continuely updated. Hope the Imagineers do a good job on this update :)

Beauty and the Beast is gonna be cool, but the new Dumbo ride... I love Dumbo it's just you don't need two rides of him right by each other.
