Fantasy Western April 28, 2012

Well, I went ahead and booked my flight thru Disney Cruiseline. Decided since there are not direct flights from PDX that I would try to get ones that minimizes travel time. I think it was worth the extra fee.

Anyone concerned about Rina wiping out Costa Maya or Cozumel? Hope 6 months is enough time to repair and rebuild!

Marni
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the news this morning about Rina. Last time we cruised the Caribbean we were a week behind a hurricane that wiped out the docs in the Grand Caymens and the tendering took forever because they just weren't prepared for it. The beach just wasn't the same and seeing all the distruction was heartbreaking.

We just booked on this cruise! It will be our first cruise with Disney - DH and I have cruised twice before (before kids) about 8 years ago. We are excited! Our kids will be 4 and 5 at sailing. We are in a Cat V - cabin 12028.

Happy Halloween!

Apparently so! If that's the case, we'll have plenty of room on what would otherwise be a very crowded ship, right?

Could you imagine some 20 or so servers, 20 or so assistant servers and such waiting on us? :lmao:

Think the Captain would let us drive? :rotfl:

But just think - - Only TWO people on the private Concierge Sun Deck, at the shows, on the Deck 4 lounges, at Palo ... WOW! And no kids at all on a Disney cruise? Impossible! :rotfl2:

So I repeat YOUR question: Where IS everybody? How many are actually still with us? :sail:

Happy Halloween! Hubby and I are still going. Bringing my parents along as well. This will be their first time on Disney. So hopefully everything will go smoothly onboard.

There are 8 of us coming on this cruise and it's the first cruise for everyone! We want to participate in the FE experience but don't know how to do it. Can anyone help?
We are room 9048. Todd (dad), Hali (me - mom), Ainslie (9), and Kendra (8). My sister's family will be across the hall from us.

:welcome: cruisevirgin! Thanks for signing up on our cruiser list of our website!

Someone else will need to reply regarding the FE experience, as I have never participated in it. We do not have an official organizer for the FE yet. When people sign up to be listed on our cruise, I am now re-ordering them first with those who are not participating, then with those who are, and in ascending order by stateroom number. Hopefully this will assist anyone willing to be the FE organizer.

kyla - I am glad you are still with us! With so little activity here, I figured we can't assume that everyone who posted is still on this sailing, since some may have switched dates or ships or even canceled. Feel free to sign up on our cruiser list!

The 5 Hardys are still coming! we're also trying to convince a couple friends to come with us
I've been consumed with my daughter's health and trying to help her reconsider her college patience her original plans are no longer a possibility. hopefully, we have both figured out!! the health looks like we are going the surgical route & while unnoticed too keen on her being cut on, at this point I it helps her feel better, she is ready.
can't SWIFtly be on the Fantasy!

krhardy - That's great news. I hope everything works out well for you and your family. :thumbsup2

Hi, we're still here as well!!! Just got back from a 7 night Mexican riviera cruise on the wonder, it was amazing!!! Now that that cruise is over, I can focus on this cruise more!!! I got a lot of great ideas for fish extender gifts. It was interesting to see some the changes they implemented on the older ships since the dream came into service. The wave phones. The new sheets, cocktail menus, and they have a rolling cart that serves the anti-pasta at palo....they said that was because they have it on the dream and fantasy. And the costumes for the palo servers were different as well. Our rotational server was amazing and she said she is transferring to the fantasy, definitely going to request her.

supercruiser420 - I LOVE the Wonder! Did they happen to have the Apple Black Martini? I miss that one. My last cruise (Magic) it was not on the menu. A bartender tried to improvise, but it just wasn't the same.
