Fantasy Upgrade

What changed on the Fantasy after the dry dock? Did it get all new beds, carpet, etc.? Going for the first time in October. I was never on it before so it won't be different to me...but I'm still curious.

I've read that before but it actually doesn't talk about the soft goods, beds, carpets, etc. I was curious about those. But, thank you for the response!

I haven't seen anything about that. It looks like new carpet according to GoofyLovingFamily. I go at the end of the month so I will let you know how it compares to 2016 if I remember!

It got new carpet for sure. We were on the first out of drydock.

There was lots of carpet replacement. The atrium carpet was AMAZING. So plush and soft. They had to have people out there constantly cleaning it up since there was still so many loose strands coming up.
They were replacing the carpet on the aft airs during the 7 day cruise. I didn't walk everywhere to see what other carpets might have been changed, but they certainly were working on them, just like they were working on stripping and repainting the funnels. I think the dry dock might have been a little too short for the work still going on.

They just recently (like in the past two or three weeks) got new mattresses. There was a picture in the local papers of the stacks of mattresses on the dock, waiting to go onboard.
