I will be sailing on the Fantasy in November with my family, and I have a gluten allergy that makes it difficult to dine out. I hate being “that person” who constantly has to remind servers that I have an allergy, ask if something has gluten, double check to make sure it’s safe, etc. My first Disney cruise, we had an excellent server who was very on top of the allergy issue and just really made it a non-issue for me because he was so aware, but our last cruise I was not so lucky and spent a lot of time reminding and asking questions and begging to preorder for the next night. I’d like to avoid that if at all possible this next time around. Does anyone have any experience with a Fantasy server who is very familiar with allergy precautions? Bonus points if they are familiar with gluten and cross contamination issues!
ETA: my experience in Cabanas and quick serve locations has always been top notch and one of the main reasons we continue to cruise with Disney!
