Hey all,

My dad just booked this block of rooms on the Fantasy and I read around that it seems these rooms are prone to engine noise and vibration (although one review mentions that it was completely quiet - that was on the Dream though)

Has anyone stayed in any of these rooms? The nice thing is that they are all lumped together so now my mom can bug us whenever she wants...jk :P

TIA

We're booked for September in 5190 & 5192 which are straight aft balcony rooms. I looked into this a lot with the same concerns. What I've read so far is that when the ship is going full speed and when it's pulling into port there is vibration and noise, but outside of that you don't notice it much.

While on the Dream I stayed in 8668 which is not far from your rooms. Every day and night I felt the vibration. So much so that it made it hard to sleep. On the other hand my DH and kids did not feel it at all. I guess some folks are just more sensitive to vibration than others. Next time I'm going for a forward room.

We had 6676 and 6674 on the Dream for our cruise in March. The only thing that I noticed was on the day we pulled into Port Canaveral we heard and felt significant noise/vibration early, early in the morning. I remember commenting to my DH, if we weren't up already, it would sure wake me up. It was around 6am. Other than that, we didn't have any issues.

We have the same rooms booked for our next cruise.
