Fantasy parade or BOG lunch?

We'll be missing the electrical parade to eat at CRT later that evening (8:15 reservation) so I'm thinking about canceling (2:30) lunch at BOG so we don't miss the Fantasy parade. DD4 loves parades but eating in the Beast's castle is pretty special too.
Which would you miss?

I'd keep the ADR, show up a bit early and hope to get in before your time, know what you want to order before you enter, so that speeds up that process. You might be able to catch some of the parade afterward (I'd head to the street past Haunted Mansion to watch for it).

I pick my fastpass selections in a few days, if I can get a fastpass for this won't they put me right by the castle? Then we can pre-order food, heave it down, and be at the fastpass viewing location likely right at 3?
Another option is hoping they have the electrical parade that day. right now it's only on the calendar for an hour before wishes but typically it goes through an hour before and an hour after wishes, yeah?

Pre-Order online, this will save you time.

I would choose one and enjoy it rather than stressing over fitting both in. If it was me, I would keep my ADR at CRT and skip BoG. Festival of Fantasy is an excellent parade and my guess is your daughter will enjoy that more than eating in Beast's Castle.

We were by the train station for fp+

I would do the FOF parade and we just came back in January and it was the highlight of our trip. It was the first time in years we sat down an hour before the parade so that we had a great spot. It was worth it. My girls aren't big fans of BOG food (even tho I love it) so it would be a no brainer for me.

Don't rush your experience at BOG...keep trying for a different ADR. The parade is terrific and shouldn't be missed, but you should have fun at BOG too. It's a great experience.

I can't fathom enjoying "heave it down" lunch. Choose one or the other and keep looking for an earlier ADR. MSEP does not typically occur twice a night year round.
Reading a few of your posts today about eating in the MK this day, I fear you are trying to do too much with a 4 yo
Good Luck.

I'm thinking I'll most likely cancel BOG since we ate there (for dinner) a year ago and just stick w/ the parade at 3 and CRT at 8:15.
Like others have mentioned the parade would be more thrilling for DD4 than eating QS at BOG.
