Has anyone visited this attraction? If so can they tell me whether it's a) worth the trip and b) worth the $24.95 entry fee.

BIL is coming to Florida with us in Feb and is a plane nut so I thought it might be a nice thing for him although the rest of us aren't that bothered about it.

Any thoughts ??

Yes, it's worth the trip if you like planes! DH spent HOURS wandering around. Look for coupons in all the discount coupon books you can pick up. Also, highly recommend the cafe.

I remember this question arising on the old UK boards from someone with a plane enthusiast DH and getting plenty of encouragement for him to go - SimonV likes this place too. I believe it was a real hit! Perhaps your BIL could go with just one other of you if the rest of you aren't so keen.

Yup - big plane nut, and a big hit with me But the nostalgia and wartime re-creation elements also appealed to my wife, too, while the fighter simulators are just great fun. The Compass Rose restaurant is ideal for lunch.
