Fantasy must do/not do

My family (kids 2.5,6,8) and friends are going our first Disney cruise this Nov on the Fantasy. I have been reading lots of threads and lots of folks reports but I was wondering what are the must do or must not do for the new Fantasy.

Take your kids on the Aqua Duck if they are tall enough. If not, take them to the Aqua Lab. The little one might be better suited to Nemo's Reef.

Try and get your kids to go to the kid's clubs so you can have some alone time with your spouse. Even if it's just for an hour or two. The kid's programming is excellent and you may find that they'll want to spend more time there than with you.

Cruising is about doing as much or as little as you choose to do. If you try and plan everything out to the minute, you'll find yourself feeling rushed and you just might forget to enjoy yourselves.

If you do get some alone time I can't recommend satellite falls enough - the water makes very fun waves in a circular motion as the ship moves and there was never anyone else in there! We floated and let the water buffet us about and people laughed but we didn't care, it was very fun and relaxing!

Great tip! We will be on the fantasy next year and I will definitely keep this in mind for alone time with DH.

Must No Do -- stress yourself out trying to do everything that someone else says you must do

OTOH, our Disney-related trips are never relaxing. We're always running around to try to experience everything no matter how many times we've been to the park or ship. Maybe going to Aulani will change that.
